I should point out that my vote for Yorkshire only counts over Lancashire if Greater Manchester is not considered part of the latter.

I never get tired of winding up a Calder Valley friend by proclaiming that Yorkshire is my favorite suburb of Greater Manchester... and meaning it as a compliment.

Not that much of a compliment considering some of the other suburbs of Greater Manchester though, surely?

Most of them used to be in Lancashire and still need to be dragged up a bit ;)

Isn't it all technically Cheshire now anyway?

I would have said they should stick to what they're good at, it's just that I'm not convinced there is anything Facebook is good at...

true dat!
I am finding it very annoying, and actually killing a lot of posts that go into my news feed. Polls, multiple music video postings and 30 day music challenges are pissing me off bug time - and thats not just hormones talking!

They were fun to begin with but then EVERYONE started doing it and it's very annoying.

I like Yorkshire and Lancashire, but then I'm from Cheshire/Merseyside, so what do I know? I like Yorkshire a bit more, but feel a bit guilty because I'm from the other side...

I put 'true' for your third question, but feel constrained to admit that I don't have an FB account so am just assuming (from what I've heard and observed) that it's a load of old shite...

If Facebook got good at polls and if my friends list had the same people on it as my LJ friends list I reckon LJ would die entirely for me. This would be terrible.

I had to click Yorkshire because I have never been to Lancashire and know nothing about it except I think it's near Manchester.

For question 2 - my answer would be I couldn't give a flying fuck!
:)

I'm not from round these parts and get enough crap for being a southerner in the the north from both sides of the Pennines to care!
